What does pursuing your passion mean to you? People talk about it all the time, but what does it really mean? It’s very important for everyone to follow their passion and do what they feel they are inspired to do. No matter what you do in life, one of the most happy-making things you can do is following your passion. Following your passion for work or hobby helps us all unfold our gifts and talents.  The act of following it allows us to gain skills in areas we’re already strong and pushes us to become better. Since college life is the time to build and mold every individual, we can begin to create a body of work that will grow and develop over our lifetime. Engaging yourself in meaningful hobbies keeps your mind nimble as you grow and allows you to feel that your life has a great meaning and purpose.
If you take the time to pursue your passion, what you’re essentially doing is developing your skills and gifts— and this leads to expertise.  Who doesn’t want to be an expert about something? Naturally, there's no way to predict where our paths may lead us. In fact, our ideas and plans could very well change down the road. In order for us to be successful all we have to do is to nurture our individual dreams. I personally think that you should study what you want, whatever your dream or passion is because at the end of the day you should have made yourself happy and not just being someone else.

“Nothing great in the world has ever been accomplished without passion.”
